1. Where are the clothes made? Our clothes are designed, manufactured, and made right here in Southern California. We are proud to employ local print and sew houses, bringing jobs to our community, and reducing our carbon footprint by avoiding the massive impact of overseas freight transportation.


2. What is our carbon footprint? Sustainability is one of our core values here at Civile Apparel. We are constantly striving to reduce our carbon footprint by working with local manufacturing houses to reduce transportation needs, selecting fabrics that are recycled or sustainably sourced, and utilizing compostable and reusable shipping materials that have significantly less impact on the environment.


3. How long until my package arrives; can I track it? Do you ship to Canada? Hawaii? In order to offer our customers a simple $5 flat shipping rate, our packages ship within two days and are sent via USPS Priority Mail. Packages generally arrive within five business days. Customers will be notified at the time shipping labels are created and can always track their package using the number provided in their notification email. We do currently offer expedited shipping and shipping to non-contiguous states for an additional fee. Shipping rates for those items available upon checkout. 


4. How do I return something? What is the policy? Need to exchange or return? No problem. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@civileapparel.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

 
5. How do I place a retail order? To place a retail/wholesale order, please contact us at relazioni@civileapparel.com


6. How do I become an affiliate? What is an affiliate? Affiliates are like brand ambassadors for Civile whose intent is to help spread the word and encourage sales for Civile Apparel. Affiliates are given personalized links that can be used to track their sales and allow them to earn commissions on those sales.

An affiliates is anyone who:

1. Is an avid pickleball player.

2. Aligns themself with an inclusive and respectful mindset.

3. Is interested in helping grow the brand by getting out there and chatting people up about it.

4. Is savvy enough to use and share electronic codes for customers - all from which they will receive a kickback.

7. How do I become an influencer? What is an influencer? Influencers are also like brand ambassadors, who will act as representatives for Civile Apparel. 

An influencer is anyone who:

1. Is an avid pickleball player.

2. Aligns themself with an inclusive and respectful mindset.

3. Is interested in helping grow the brand by getting out there and chatting people up about it.

4. Is savvy enough to use and share electronic codes for customers - all from which they will receive a kickback.  

5. Has a solid social media following, but is more of a microinfluencer (35k-100k followers).

6. Has an attainable and friendly presence online.

8. What events does CIVILE participate in? We love our community and love to get involved in it!  Whether it's a pickleball tournament, shopping event, or community fair, we would love the opportunity to be a part of it. From giveaway goodies to full pop-up store options, please contact us to discuss how we can get involved. 


9. How does sizing run? Due to the nature of apparel manufacturing, our garment sizing varies from item to item. Specifications, recommendations, and customer feedback can be found on the individual product pages. Should you have questions about fit that are not answered amply on the site, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for more information. We are always striving to be better, and your inquiries help us continue to improve.


10. What does the word CIVILE mean? Civile means, "civil" in Italian and we like the way it feels when you say it. Our brand was created with unity, respect, and a. return to civility in mind, so choosing Civile as our brand name reminds us to always, be civil and play nicely, on and off the court.
